Review: Winter of the World
Winter of the World by Ken Follett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A real block-buster; a history lesson and social studies in UK, Germany, Russia and America before and through the second world war. With such great characters and story lines that it is never boring and you just keep going back for more. An "I couldn't put it down".
The second in The Century Trilogy and I am looking forward to reading the third. Ken Follett excels at these historical sagas - Pillars of the Earth and World without End were brilliant too.
Lots more please
